Due as part of Portfolio 2 on May 4
DETAILS ON
FIELD TRIP:
On Wednesday, March 30, we will be going on a field trip to the Danforth Museum of Art, located at 123 Union Avenue in the center of Framingham, less than 2 miles from the Framingham State University campus.
The morning class will meet at the
museum at 9 AM; the afternoon class will meet at the museum at 3 PM.
We will meet in the museum lobby,
accessible through the front entrance facing Union Avenue; please do not come
to our classroom in May Hall.
Bring a notebook, a pencil (the
museum does not allow ballpoint pens or markers in their galleries), and this
direction sheet (also available online at the class website).
We will be given a tour of the
museum by a docent, which will take approximately 1 hour. Then you will spend
30 minutes taking the notes you need for this project.
The morning class can expect to be
finished at approximately 10:30 AM; the afternoon class can expect to be
finished at approximately 4:30 PM.
For directions to the museum,
visit their website at DanforthMuseum.org;
click on the “About” section. Parking is available in the museum’s lot or on
the street.
If for any reason you miss this
field trip, you will be marked as absent for the day AND you will be
responsible for visiting the museum on your own time and completing the project
as assigned.
